The P.A.C.E. Studio Companies
Overview
As a Company Dancer, for those children who want it, you have opportunity to audition, and if chosen, to perform in a professional dance setting outside the studio walls. It is a way to expand the arts education process if the student and parents choose to add this extra curriculum to their schedule. Company members have the opportunity to participate in all of the company dances, provided they have fulfilled the skills and rehearsal requirements to the company director’s satisfaction. We have had such a wonderful group of young ladies participate as The P.A.C.E. Studio Company Dancers in the past and we will continue the tradition again this year.
Students auditioning generally...
- show exceptional promise in their training
- have an overwhelming desire to become a more serious dancer
- are highly committed to dance
Once selected by audition, Company Dancers...
- attend many extra rehearsal classes
- perform in competitions and comunity events
Through participation in outside conventions, competitions and community events, Company Dancers...
- interact with many national and international teachers
- broaden their experiences to develop as fine and outstanding young dancers
- observe and experience the reality of a professional dancer's obligations
- excel in their community amongst their peers, and in the dance community outside our area
